Overview
The UR030-003-DNB USB 2.0 Universal / Reversible "A" to Down-Angle Mini-B 5-pin device cable meets or exceeds USB 2.0 Specifications. Connects a digital camera, PDA, smartphone or other compatible device to a USB port on a computer or hub. Backward compatible with older USB 1.1 applications as well. Includes superior foil shielding for reliable, error-free data communications. Features nickel-plated connectors and gold-plated copper contacts for superior conductivity. The cable is manufactured with molded connectors and integral strain relief for extra durability and long life.

American Wire Gauge (AWG) is a US standard set of wire gauges or diameters. The higher the gauge number, the thinner the wire. Since thicker wire has less electrical resistance, it can carry more current. For networking or digital signage applications with longer runs, use 24 AWG cabling. AWG is also used to describe USB data/charging cables used with smartphones and other mobile devices. Thicker cables can carry more current and potentially charge a device faster. The gauge of USB cables have two numbers (e.g. 28/28 AWG). The first number refers to the gauge of the data wires and the second describes the gauge of the power wires. A USB cable that is 28/24 AWG has thicker charging wires and can carry more current.
