This 4K HDMI adapter supports Ultra HD 4K video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz for crystal-clear picture and sound on two monitors simultaneously. The MTB3-002-HD is compatible with HDCP 2.2 content protection, 3D video and EDID. It also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor, as well as 36-bit Deep Color (12 bits per channel).
Built-In Thunderbolt 3 Connector Attaches in Either Direction
Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible male connector plugs into a Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for a fumble-free connection every time. Thunderbolt 3 is eight times faster than USB 3.0 with four times the video bandwidth of HDMI. Note: This adapter only provides audio/video output when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 port. It will not function if connected to a USB-C port.
Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately
The plug-and-play adapter requires no software or external power. Just connect the built-in cable to the Thunderbolt 3 port on your source device, and use HDMI cables (sold separately) to connect the adapter to your display(s). Because the adapter is backward compatible with non-4K displays, you can use it with 1080p monitors or other available displays. Multi-resolution support ensures both connected displays will work at their highest resolution.
