Product Warranty Period (Worldwide)

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Eaton warrants this product, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from the date of initial purchase. If the product should prove defective in material or workmanship within that period, Eaton will, subject to the foregoing terms and limitations, repair or replace the product, in its sole discretion, as your exclusive remedy for Eaton's breach of its limited warranty.

Questions & Answers

The Tripp Lite NIAP KVM series offer a KM or Boundless Switching feature. This feature enables users to switch ports without utilizing the port selection buttons on the KVM. In some cases, new units have this function enabled by default. To disable KM Switching, go to the Admin And Security Management 1.2 utility (see User Manual for instructions on accessing this utility), select option 6 for Select mode and Select Mode #1 for KVM switching (manual selection on KVM).

The Tripp Lite NIAP KVM Admin And Security Management 1.2 utility is not compatible with Apple/MAC computers. In order to use the utility, it must be accessed with a Windows computer.

The number pad is locked upon launching the Admin And Security Management 1.2 utility (see User Manual for instructions on accessing this utility). For numeric values, please use the keys above the alphabetic section.

The Tripp Lite NIAP KVMs support uni-directional (or one-way) communication. When a “lock” button is pushed on the keyboard, the command is sent through the KVM to the designated computer. Under normal circumstances, a command would be sent back to the keyboard and the appropriate LED would light up. As NIAP KVMs do not allow communication output, this communication is not sent to the keyboard.

The HP ZR2240W is the default unit in the EDID Lock field. Once a new lock has been made, the HP ZR2240W information will be replaced by the appropriate information. Please note: resetting the KVM to defaults or conducting a factory restore will populate the EDID Lock field with HP ZR2240W.
