Overview
This USB Server Interface Unit with Virtual Media and Common Access Card (CAC) support connects a USB server to a B064-IPG or B064-IPH Series NetDirector® KVM switch using Cat5e/6 cabling. The server connected using this interface unit will be able to access the Virtual Media functionality of the B064-IPG and B064-IPH Series KVM switch. Use of Cat5e/6 cables frees up space in server cabinets that would otherwise be filled by traditional, bulkier KVM cable kits. Compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for GSA Schedule purchases.
Note: SIUs that were purchased prior to that of your KVM switch may require a firmware upgrade in order for them to work properly (see Maintenance under OSD Operation section of your B064-Series KVM Owner's Manual for details).

System Requirements
- Server or CPU with a HD15 connector and USB type A connector
- The B055-001-UV2CAC is compatible with the B064C-16-1X1-IP, B064-IPG & B064-IPH Series KVM over IP switches. The B055-001-UV2CAC is not compatible with the B064C-16-1-IP Console KVM.
- A B064- IPG KVM Switch with firmware v1.0.071 (HWv1) or later installed. All versions of the HWv2 B064- IPG KVM"s support the B055-001-UV2CAC.
- Cat5e/6 cable
