Desktop Battery Backup Keeps Critical Home Equipment Running During Power Outages
You have devices in your home that need to be operational at all times, especially when the power is out. The Internet router that keeps you connected to the world. The IP cameras that help keep you safe. The home assistants, such as the Amazon Echo and Google Nest, and the smart controllers that maintain lighting and temperature. The BC36ML AC-to-DC battery backup not only keeps those devices up and running during a power outage, but it also maintains your ability to control them remotely.
Compatible with a Wide Range of Essential Home Devices
The BC36ML single-device mini UPS system is ideal for routers, modems, wi-fi extenders, IP cameras, access control devices, VoIP phones, medical alert solutions, portable computer monitors and other low-power devices that may need battery backup. It replaces the standard AC power adapter provided with your device, which ensures power protection without additional equipment.
Dual Lithium-Ion Batteries Ensure Reliable Backup Power
This 36V battery backup features two 2200mAh lithium-ion batteries that ensure continuous operation for one connected device at a time in your home office or residential application. The cold-start function also allows the unit to be used as a power bank.
Adaptable to Your Power Needs
The BC36ML allows you to select the appropriate output DC voltage corresponding to your equipment: 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/2.4A or 19V/1.9A (12V is the default). It features an attached output cord and four barrel adapters (6.3 x 3.0 mm, 4.75 x 1.7 mm, 5.5 x 2.1 mm, 5.5 x 2.5 mm) that take the place of your connected device’s power cord. Just connect the BC36ML to an AC wall outlet using the included input cord with NEMA 5-15P plug.

Questions & Answers
The power draw of a typical home modem/router can vary, but it is generally between 5 and 20 watts, with 10 watts being a safe average. Some more powerful or complex models, especially those that include multiple features such as modem/router combos or mesh network systems, might draw a little more.
Remember, power consumption can be affected by several factors such as the make and model of the device, its usage, and the specific features it provides. It's always best to check the product specifications or contact the manufacturer for the most accurate information.
The power consumption of a home security camera can vary greatly depending on the type, model, and features of the camera. However, typical IP (Internet Protocol) security cameras generally use between 2 watts to 10 watts of power per hour.
Wireless security cameras can use slightly less, while some high-end models with additional features such as night vision, motion detection, or continuous recording might use more. It's also worth noting that the power usage may spike temporarily when the camera is actively recording or streaming video, compared to when it's in standby mode. For a more specific figure, it's best to check the technical specifications of the specific model you're interested in, or reach out to the manufacturer for information.
