Features
UL 2930 Medical-Grade Power Strip Approved for Patient Care Vicinities
The PS-606-HGDG features six NEMA 5-15R-HG "green dot" hospital-grade outlets that supply power to medical equipment used inside patient care vicinities, including operating rooms, therapy rooms and imaging environments. It meets UL 2930 standards with a NEMA 5-15P-HG plug that provides redundant ground connection. The innovative input plug eliminates the need for an additional ground wire, which reduces cable clutter, the potential shock risk and risk of tripping to a patient in the event of a ground fault.
Antimicrobial Protection Helps Provide a Safer, Cleaner and Healthier Work Environment
The Safe-IT™ power strip is protected by an antimicrobial coating that helps resist the growth of bacteria, viruses, fungi, mold and mildew.
Premium Safety Features Help Ensure Proper Power Connections
With no central power switch, this power strip presents no danger of accidental shutoff and cutting off power to essential devices. Resettable 15-amp circuit breakers protect connected equipment against overloads. Locking plastic safety covers are included to block access to unused outlets.
Ready for Installation in Demanding Medical Environments
The six-foot cord allows positioning the medical device away from a standard NEMA 5-15R duplex wall outlet. Built-in mounting flanges and integrated keyhole slots let you mount the all-metal housing to benches, stands, mobile carts, IV poles or any other areas containing multiple cord-and-plug-connected medical electrical equipment used in patient care vicinities.

Questions & Answers
A plug with a double ground creates a redundancy in the grounding path. If a malfunction or insulation breakdown occurs, the grounding point terminal or jack provides a secondary path of least resistance for the current, thereby reducing the potential risk of electric shock to a patient.
